This list is for a tournament. I have no illusion I might win, I just want to do alright. Here's what I thought of running:

Stick the Devs in the Aegis and the Thunderfire in a bolstered ruin. Turn 1, alpha strike the Dreads, Sterns and a squad of Tacs. The other Tacs will either be dropped near objectives when they come in or near the action, depending on the mission. Librarian will probably go with the Sternguards.

Comments/advice always welcome.

How about giving the Librarian the goi and including some locator beacons.

A libby with Gate with the sternguard and a scattering of locator beacons would be brutal. I would also maybe go for combi plasma over Melta as dropping, deploying and unloading 10 AP2 shots is unpleasant in the extreme. Is there a character in the vanilla list that grants hatred? If so, throw him in as well and you get to re-roll those pesky ones!

As always, Devs are overcosted, i would suggest attaching their pod to the Thunderfire Cannon and lose them for something else (you get the same firepower from a auto/las pred and it is more durable behind the line. You gain points that can be better spent on your Sterns. Give them 5x melta and 5x plasma

Could drop the combi-melta on the sarge for an extra locator. Or drop the Pred and the combi for a 5-man scout squad for the aegis, what do you guys think? Right now the aegis would be manned by a ml combat squad.
