									Hello lovely friends,
I've been looking over what I need to get to bump my Bakunin sectorial up to 300 points and have come across a hurdle that I'm not sure how to proceed over. So basically I can have 10 units in a group, and those 10 units (as long as they are regular) can share that pool of orders, right?

Well my 300 point list would take me over that 10 models for group 1 and then force me to use a second smaller group that has x 3 Morlocks in it, so they are irregular and don't generate orders for the group, meaning that if I only put one or two additional units in group 2 they will almost end up as irregular units due to limited access to orders yup?

Ok so my question is that I am running a 4 man Bakunin moderator link team within my army, is it best to put these in the second group with the morlocks and potenitally a few other units, thus allowing me to move all of the moderators with one order anyway and saving the rest of their generated orders for the extra non-irregular units if needs be? My problem with this is that it then reduces the 'cheerleader' orders in group 1 where all my nice stuff is (Rev. Custodian, Spit and ADHL prowler, Sin eater, zero, vertigo zond)...

Oh I'm very confused as to the best way to handle list building without nerfing my own guys potenital... or is it best for me to hold back on the infantry and try to put in some high cost units to reduce the unit count??? ahhh

 Your help is much appreciated!

Models I have at present are: Bakunin sectorial boxed set, prowler with spit, prowler with ADHL, extra moderator, Morlock boxed set. I plan on not using the moira, and also have an extra Zero I wasn't going to use.

Models I planned to add: Rev. Custodian, Vertigo Zond, Uberfallen Kommando (probably alternate with the Morlocks depending on my mood) I also should probably add extra remote shouldn't I?

If you are only looking at moving a couple of units the sin eater and the vertigo would be good choices as they don't usually need to do much in the active turn if you have them deployed in a good spot. That would give an extra couple of orders to the morlocks (if they needed it) or allow you to re-position the sin eater/ vertigo and still leave you with a decent number of orders in the main group.
It can be tricky knowing which way to split groups if you've got 12 - 13 models (especially if some of them are irregular) but once you get up to around 15 its not so bad as you can still have a reasonable pool of orders for both groups.

Cant be specific for the overall strategy of which models to put where im afraid, but if you have Irregular models in Group 2 (Morlocks for example) then adding Regular models wont make them Irregular, it will just leave them with a low amount of orders. Then again, it will increase the number of orders the Morlocks can use....
Link teams are very order efficient, so they are a good group to use both as an effective force which uses few orders, and cheerleaders for other models to utilise their order generation, meaning they could go in either group...

Are Morlocks Impetuous? As if they are this effectively gives them 2 orders each, meaning that even with just 3 of them in a Combat Group on their own ,they arent quite as order starved as you would imagine...

I would probably move the Sin Eater to the second group, as he is an ARO focused model, but im not hot on my Nomads, or on splitting combat Groups, sorry...EDIT: Huh, turns out that im thinking along the same lines. the Zond is the Total Reaction Remote right? I nthat case then yeah, that would be antoher good candidate for the second group as well, as it is ARO focused...

The vertigo is the guided missile remote (this is nomads we're talking about here!). But still it doesn't need line of sight so usually hides behind a wall for most of the game. Although actually having it in the group with the morlocks would limit the number of guided missiles it could fire per turn so would reduce the effectiveness of any GML spam.

Super thanks for the responses so far chaps, this has enlightened me a lot with the concept of putting ARO focused units in group 2 to open up some extra orders for whoever else is in there.

Looks like you have a good nomad force there.
To try to help you out I recommend focusing on what you primarily want to do. Are you going GML, link team assault, making your prowlers work, or impetuous assault?

Put priority in each one then this will help you create groups and determine which needs the orders as you cannot obviously achieve all. I have lists where one group only has 2 figs in it as all they would do is sit back and take snap shots at anything that comes near while my other group does all the work. But take note that that 2 man group still provides 2 orders. that's still a 12 inch move with full burst or 4 inch move with 2 full bursts.

Play with whatever set up you come up with based on your tactical priority then after the game you would be able to determine how to further adjust your groupings to your liking.

 Have fun.

doesn't need LoF ONLY if it has Forward observers marking targets for it. Admittedly, this is one of the nomad dirty tricks™ (FOs out the wazoo) but it still doesn't cancel out the fact that unless the target is marked, the GML won't be able to shoot unless it has LoF .
