I really like the Swarmlord, and think the Fexes are pretty effective, and having 33 T6 wounds is a lot to deal with, and then the Ymgarls pop up in enemy lines and cause some serious damage. With termagants spawning when needed to help tie things up.

I also need to make a 1500 point list, with an addition Tyranid Prime HQ (up to 150 points) for a campaign next month, Prime counts as 1 HQ choice, so don't need another, no special characters and one flyer (which isn't a problem, I have none )

33 T6 wounds isn't nice at all you should be ashamed of yourself, and this is the Season of Goodwill :-)

I think that would def do the business, Does the Swarmlord grand a flank deployment to a troops choice, having a Tervigon coming on from the flank would be suitably unpleasant!

Well i've been using that many MCs 3 more Hive Guard but no Tyrant Guard and not doing that well. (No Ymgarls, only 1 squad of termagants, some hormagaunts and some normal stealers and only catalyst on Tervigons and no frag spines)
Althought when I played yesturday for the first time in 3 months I forgot loads of things like Swarmlord has 5 not 4 wounds

I haven't played that many games with Nids, so still learning, and I am not playing much 40k at all really, so have been getting worse over the past couple years.
I do like MCs though, also like horde, so Nids are great. I have the models to do either, although i'd like more hormagaunts than I have currently for a proper horde army.
