I have bought a box of lootas and burnas and I have heard that if you get more bodies you can make both. Does it come with all the parts to make both? Like the arms?

I would also like to know an effective way to use both. I was thinking burnas in a Trukk or Battlewagon. Is that good or should I do something else? And lootas sitting back behind cover firing?

It will have the arms and weapons for four Lootas and Burnas each, but you need legs and bodies to make more than five models out of it. I use regular Boyz.
Burnas are best placed in a Battlewagon with several others rushing forward, so they either draw a lot of fire away from other BWs carrying Boyz and Nobz, or wreak utter chaos if they connect with the enemy lines themselves.
Lootas are simple; just place them in cover, preferably with good LOS, and fire away at all targets of opportunity.

I bought an ork Battleforce and thinking of buying another box of lootas and burnas. I think I will make 8 of the boys from the Battleforce into either the lootas or burnas. Whatever one i do t make the original packs into. So the. I will have a squad of 8 burnas with 1 mek and a squad of 8 lootas with a mek. Is that a good idea?

Try and make the Meks count as Lootas. giving you two five man squads of Lootas (or one big one of 10). Meks do very little as their weapons are inaccurate and don't do much.

Also try to kitbash some more burnas together as 8 may not be enough for a squad (they would run away very often).

Meks suck, just as stated above. The only reason I can think to take one would be in a squad of Burnas or maybe Bunker Lootas (Lootas in a barebone BW to give them protection, which never moves unless absolutely necessary), to fix possible immobilized results/some hull points on the BW, but even that's pushing it. Just pretend Meks don't exist. As long as they aren't Big, that is.

Yeah kit comes with everything you need to make 4 of each. I would definitely convert the two meks into 2 more lootas so you have a solid 10. Just use the Kustom megablasta and bigshoota and combine them together to make something cool looking and you're set. I converted many of my lootas in a similar way and they look cool and are cheaper than having to buy even more boxes of lootas.
