regen is a waste on your prime as anything s8 or above will cause instant death, think about taking a unit of warriors to take advantage of the upgrade of BS from the prime. ymgarl stealers are better in smaller groups than normal stealers.

Not true. Primes are T5, so take s10 insta gib. That is one of the reasons they are so useful.

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

i dont see much purpose for those 5 genestealers they will probably just get killed in one round of shooting from a squad of tactical marines

Automatically Appended Next Post:
i would throw them into the 7 man stealer squad so they dont feed FB

Some Tau World

The units have to be larger as 1st blood often wins game!
Also melee is a joke now, so you should drop the
12 genestealers - broodlord
and 38 hormagaunts w/toxin

keep the trygon prime as he is a character and he can pick out the Nobz with PF

all ur base are belong to da

all the armies i used to beat b4 6ed

Replace the hormagaunts with some Termagants and grab one or two Tervigons.

Then fill the board with bugs.

Ugh. There's more to Tyranids than Tervigons and Termagants, so why not applaud this attempt at being a little different and give constructive criticism on the list, rather than telling him to change his tune. Melee is not dead. Incase you haven't noticed, you need 6s to hit on overwatch, which means that very few of the shots will actually hit. And there's a lot of guys he can be sticking into combat.

Anyway, as others have said, 5 genestealers on their own are not going to do that much tbh, so combine the two units. I would also consider dropping the Gargoyles and the Broodlord in the Stealer squad and getting a unit of Warriors to be a retinue for your prime and take advantage of the increased WS and BS. For the points saved, you can get a unit of 3 with Scything Talons and Deathspitters, a unit that's pretty effective for the relatively low cost. I guess if you wanted to go more CC-orientated you could go with Rending Claws or Toxin Sacs. This extra bubble of Synapse should greatly help. Finally, if you were willing to chop further into the stealers or into the hormagaunts, you could keep the Gargoyles which may be useful for tying up/annoying/denting any units that pack those nasty S8 shots which Warriors hate. Though I guess the Prime could do a good job of that....
