I recently got some AoW plague troops to mess around with. They say that they are a resin-plastic hybrid. You have to use super glue to put them together. I'm not a big fan of the tentacle or possessed look, but like the war-torn, rust an decay look. So I'm chopping off heads and doing some green stuff work to them. I've even thought about making Nurgle marines out of them.

Does anyone know if they need a cool soapy water bath before I do anything though? I've only had limited exposure to resin models. Do you let them soak, do I need to scrub them with a soapy toothbrush before priming?

Thanks in advance. I couldn't find anything on their website as far as treatment

Nah, wash them as normal. Warm soapy water and a soft tooth brush like anything else, no soak required.

Fully dry, prime, paint.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
