Post 666!
Does Aragorn count as a Dunedain/Ranger of the North for the purposes of bow limits?

To quote the hobbit rulebook.
"Bows carried by hero's do not count towards your bow limit"

Mainly found in the LOTR section..... |

Sorry, I'll specify that a bit more . . .
In a Grey Company list, the rules for bow limits are different - for every Ranger of the North/Dunedain, you can have 4 Rangers of the North (which are bow armed). For army selection, does Aragorn count as a Ranger/Dunedain?

**DISCLAMER: i am only reading from the Hobbit rulebook, the FAQ's for the Sourcebooks & hobbit rulebook but NOT the sourcebook in question becuase i do not own said book** I would say No, as reading RAW, aragorn is "Aragorn Ilsuldurs Heir" Unless in his profile it says he is treated as a ranger / dunedain he is Just Aragorn (Not that it is a bad thing) Also Bow limit is Bow limit. 1 /3 of your army can have bows, Unless specifys that it ignores bow limits. So if you only have dunadain & ranger of the north hero's with 4 rangers each, you will need enough un-bow-armed models to make your force 1/3 armed with bows (Ignoring hero's) I'm terribly sorry if this doesnt help and also for any confusion caused as its christamas eve and rather stupidy i had a very late night lol.

Apologies but Rarmah is not correct here. A grey company army or allied contingent of ONLY grey company models may include 4 rangers for ever 1 ranger of the north or Dunedian. Aragorn(any version), Arathorn, Halbarad do not count as rangers of the north or Dunedian.
Note, Dunedian and rangers of the north are also SOLO heros who may not lead warriors, so you will still need other heros to lead the warbands.
The grey company was the first army to allow a break of the 1/3 bow limit rule.
