I had a couple of questions that didn't quite seem to be painting and modelling or background so this seemed like the best place to put them. I'm in the beginning stages of making up a Blood Angels heresy era force and had a few queries as to some of the unit make ups.

The first is legion artillery, most notably Medusa and Basilisk crews being astartes. Does this mean they should be modelled by fully power armoured astartes, scout armoured or the as-of-yet not seen unarmoured marines to be used as a vehicular crew.

Secondly comes the Sanguinary Guard, I have read that these are actively in use as the legions elite during the heresy but wasn't sure if it was in their current incarnation (appearance wise) or if they have varied between the Heresy and 41st Millennium, if anyone has insight into these matter I'd be really grateful.

The crews would be fully armoured Astartes and the Sang Guard are identical
