The plan is to sit back blasting away and when the enemy hits charge range, charge in and magic the greatswords up.

A very good list, similar to what you can see in many tournaments. My only question is if the witch hunter is useful, or placing another warrior priest instead... three big infantry blocks with hatred must be a funny thing.

seems pretty much identical to what I run. that being said, you have very little in the way of chaff. Id consider dropping the second hellblaster, especially as you've only one engineer. also, if you did so, youd have points for two 5man archer detachments (70), std of discipline on the greatswords and crown of command on the bsb. that way you have two stubborn blocks, steadfast swordsmen (probably) and a nice Ld10 arch lector (if he goes in the greatswords)...

The swordsmen aren't actually there to see combat. They are there to provide a bunker for my wizard and witch hunter. As to whether the arch lector is useful, he will accuse the enemy general and whatnot.

I did consider dropping a second helblaster, but that way I felt like I didn't have enough firepower on the field.

Not bad. I'd definitely up the protection on the BSB though. Give him the Enchanted Shield, a Talisman, and Dawnstone,
and now he'd have a ward save and his armour save would be re-rollable. Also, I'd drop the second Helblaster as well
if you're not using an Engineer to back it up (It's much more fickle without the re-rolls!)

Cool list, would be nice if the person running it could acctualy play...
