Hey all, I was just curious what the best place to start is for Cryx, I'm assuming the Battle Box but what else is good to add on to them? Also, how's the performance of Malice?

Battle box, grab a unit of mechanithralls and a necrosurgeon, then add units and solos as needed.

Malice works great with most casters. I have a fond love of him with eSkarre and the Withershadow Combine.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

Bane thralls are an excellent unit, however if you don't have the UA you're missing out on their full potential by a km & a half.

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

And Tartarus makes them even better.

@ OP: If you are starting Cryx and learning the game I would get the battlebox. If you have been playing and want to get right into the faction then you probably have a caster in mind. I'd start by reading up on them and seeing what they like in their army. Then start there. Cryx really does have a ton of options so if you know your playstyle and caster then I'd start there.
