Ive got a little extra cash coming my way shortly, and was wondering what Battle foam bag would best serve me?
My army consist roughly of the following.
120 boyz
20 lootas
10 nobz
20 grotz
20 biker nobz
6 koptas
6 buggies
2 trukks
3 battle wagons
2 looted wagons
3 dakkjets
2 big meks KFF
1 mega armored warboss
1 biker boss
1 regular boss
9 kannons

Obviously I cant fit them all in any existing case, but Id like to be ableto store asmany as is reasonable.

Suggestion?

Thanks!

I bought snap-lid containers and some thin foam to line the walls. Then I put washers inside the bases of all the models and cut a large flexible magnet for the floor of each case section. Insert some plasticard separators to limit migration, and it works fine, for far less than foam cases run.

I like Battlefoam and use a Sword Bag for my Orks but I don't have nearly as many as you. It looks like they have a new bag on pre-order, The 1520XL , that will hold quite a lot but it runs between $230-$300 depending on the tray configuration you want.

The 1520XL is your best bet. Look through the Ork tray list as they have a lot of laser cut trays for Orks. This is what you want - they're cut really well so models will have room to be placed in the slot but not so much that they're rubbing on the foam. They're super space efficient as well so you get a lot in each tray. A quick glance told me there's plenty of trays that will interest you.

I use a 1520XL for my Tyranid army, and I couldn't imagine trying to fit that many big and awkward and small and awkward models in any other case. It's a pretty awesome case as long as you know what you're getting into regarding the size of the thing.
