I'm just curious as to how other people are painting up their wamahordes armies. I painted my Skorne and Cygnar up in studio colours (a few tweaks but basically the same). Are there any particularly flashy schemes hiding out there? Here's my skorne beasties! (minus the beast handlers, because I forgot about them when taking this)

Nope, at least not from me. I did the same thing with my Cygnar army that you mentioned, with an occasional switching up of the normal positions of some colors. Once I get started with painting my mercenaries I may go with something different....

I have a bunch of my Khador stuff in my gallery.
If you want some great stuff as far as alt schemes go, I'd say jump over to coolmini or the PP forums.

Ooohhh that's a lovely kong-quest! I personally can't wait to get my hands on a mammoth.

Thanks!
Mammoth does look pretty cool. My only issue with it is the head and tusks hanging over the base too far, might make it a bit difficult for charges and the like.
Might have to base it in a way with the front up on rocks or such so you have clearance for models.

I've just been getting away with the classic buttslam maneuver. It's an ancient Skorne wartime (read: all the time) secret

If I ever played skorne I would add rearview mirrors to my titans.
My paint schemes have only rarely been flashy but I try to make them visually interesting.
My retribution army was very striking but I'm trying to sell them since their playstyle didn't satisfy me. Its depressing how few offers I've had on them
my new legion that is replacing them is the first army I've ever painted in a studio scheme. I like how they turned out but I have a long way to go to paint a whole army.
My cygnar army was an excuse to paint some models in a color I always loved durring my 40k days but never had an opportunity to use.
My mercenaries are all sorts of random colors.

I'm painting my Cygnar in colours very similar to the studio, with a tweak here and there, I've only finished the Charger so far.
I've just finished basecoating my Pureblood Warpwolf for the Circle army I'm starting, I'm planning on painting it with black fur instead of white, which seems to be the studio standard. The armour will be blue with silver trim.
You can find more pics of the things I'm working on through the banner for my P&M blog, if you are interested.

My Green Cryx. My newer stuff has alot more grey with the green becoming more of a trim color
My purple Cygnar. I had painted way too much blue in my 40K days so wanted something different.
My "Crusader" Menoth. Loosely based on the Crusaders red on white from the Crusades
The Legion scheme I used to paint some of my friends beasties.
My brothers blue on blue Cygnar that I painted for him. It is hard to see here, but some of the units have alot of brown as well.
My friends Trolls I painted for him. He preferred the more traditional "greenskin".

i went with a sorta alt blue and white scheme for my cygnar, no pics yet for my trolls, but they have varying shades of blue skin, with purple on the stony growths to tie them together

Not sure if my stuff qualifies as flashy, but for my first Khador force, I went with a winter grey & red theme.
The next lot I am going for a more traditional 80's/90's Soviet look with a dark green base colour.
For my Cygnar, I went for a more muted blue trim on a mainly silver base.

Pretty much stuck with studio white for my Ret. First army (and last) army I will ever do with a white paint scheme....
