I think the list has way too much spent in core, I like the Khalida with the archers but ditch some chariots and get a few ushabti or something hard hitting like a war sphinx. The chariots for Tk's are pretty nice but still if they hit terrain, it could potentially be a horrible day.

Okay, its a good start but there is a few errors with this list.

First off you cant take the undying legion banner twice, as it is a magical banner.
Second, you should NOT take units of less than 20 with undead unless its a monster, monstrous infantry, or chariots and warmachine. They will crumble super fast in combat.

If your going to run Khalida, i would make sure the unit of archers shes in is at least 50+ to make it worth her cost as she gives the unit poison and her BS skill. I would also drop one of the princes and combine the Tomb guard together. I would also drop the light armor, its really not worth it on our undead, unless you were doing a bus formation of reg. skellie warriors for an ultimate tarpit I would also only give the chariots musicians, this will save points. if your worried about banners in case of the break point battle, put banners in your archer units. Also the idea of doing a unit of 6 chariots is nice, for the str bonus, but as soon as you lose one, poof its gone as it needs a complete second rank, you would be better off running them 4 across, and yes you can maximize with 4 across with chariots making it 4d6 impact hits!

Basically i would have something that would look like this:

The revised list Fattymac suggested is amazing, You definately should always take 2 catapults with TK's. Flaming skull upgrades or not, the forced panic checks alone are wonderful. You never know when someone is going to roll poorly and lose a unit on the first turn.

Great advice,thanks a lot!
Do you have any ideas for heavy cc units that can counter charge when my archers are in trouble?
Also setting up my troop formations is a bit strange for me, could anyone help with how to make good formations.

Not a problem.

In terms of heavy CC units, for us its our Tomb Guard and knights and Ushabti. However not so much as they all have not the greatest armor to survive, but they all can hit hard. A 2x2 unit of Ushabti is a good unit to quickly hit an incoming unit threatening your archer bunker units. It wont hold long, but it can deal some good damage.

For formation wise for TK, I would say if your archer unit is 20 to 40, go 10 across. If its over 40, you can try to go 15 or 20 across. I've once wielded a 80 man archer unit 20 across with the Queen, it was mean and brutal. Tomb Guard which you usually wanna run 30+, go hoard for most of the time.

Besides that I don't know what else to tell you. TK is an army that is very good if you can wield them properly and effectively, its not a beginner army.

Looks great!

For the Liche priests i would run the Heiro with the Archers and the other behind or vice versa depending on spells, just keep them within 3 inches for the 4+ look out sir. If you need to cut to get under 2500 i would suggest maybe the champ or musician from the Tomb guard and a archer.

Just remember with TK that our chariots wont survive long in CC, use them to hit a unit fast and get the impact hits off. If anything they will kill light units quick, but only will hurt heavy units, that's where the archer unit comes in with Khalida, hitting on 4+ and poison is mean, even though its str 3.

with 20 across, volley fire your looking at (with the 2 liche and her in it) 48 shots i believe. on average against a T3, 5+ Armor save unit, you'll do roughly 11 wounds, and that is after Armor saves. Against a T4, 5+ armor save unit you'll do roughly 9 wounds. This doesn't seem like much, but if you hit an elite unit, it hurts a lot.

Also remember that if your facing cavalry, have your Tomb Guard hit them, killing blow is key for us TK players to take out high Armor save units. Hopefully you'll roll the killing blow spell which will help.
