Hello dakka!
Its me Papa!

I just ordered the IOB Set because I want to start playing warhammer fantasy.
Trying to think of cool ideas for the High elves, not just the classic Blue and silver (theres nothing wrong with that) ....
Somehow in my head, I came up with the Salamanders (SM) theme. Light green armor, with black and gold secondary/trimmings. Totally Into this idea, I thought i could do a little conversion work, remove some symbols and such, and Paint their skin black (like a dark elf) and hair white in the classic Drow scheme.
Any thoughts or ideas would be cool, Thanks

Also: any cool ideas for the skaven (Theme wise) Im thinking Purple cloth, Bone colored armor, white fur, and super rusty weapons?

Love, Papa

Both ideas sound neat and definitely not the 'same-old, same-old.' I'd run with it.

Just make sure your opponent knows your dark-skinned elves really are High Elves, that could cause a tiny bit of confusion.
