This is the list I think I will be playing in a league, but the pressing issue is the tournament that is kicking it all off. I've opted not to play the typical Venom spam, & play something a bit more spicy. My main question to Dakka is, "Am I missing anything? " Due to work, family, the holidays & so forth I haven't had time to properly playtest it. I am not sure what to expect from the local meta, so I have tried to cover my bases.

3rd day on forum (shameless bump)

Only thing I could see changing is splitting the reavers into 3 squads of 6 vs 2 squads of 9. This would mean losing the venom blades on the other champs to afford the third. It would depend on what you wanted out of the squads. You bet better target saturation and delivery of heat lances/bladevane damage, but less punch from each squad and survivability. A bit less assault punch without a venom blade as well.

Probably something you would have to playtest. Otherwise the list looks great.

I don't run wyches personally, im a kabalite kinda guy. Many will say that wyches have been crushed in 6th though I cant comment on that.

I prefer warriors in raiders with a splinter cannon, loaded up with splinter racks for re rolls. Very effective, and scary for your opponent to face.

The list looks solid to me. I haven't run Hellions without the baron in the unit, but I know he is good with Beasts too.

Dr. Sterling: if I split the reavers into 3 units I can't take the large unit of beasts that accompanies the Baron. As to the playtesting I really haven't had the time to play since the Holiday's started. Entering into brand new meta (via moving) has been a little nerve wracking, especially w/the new edition. I played wwp in 5th, but it just doesn't work the way it should. So new playstyle to go w/a new meta!

Kitch 102: I played Kabalite gunboats in 3rd edition (funny alot of the lists I've seen remind me of those days). Lol, I don't even own any Kabalites anymore!

Just trying to put out a balanced army, that can take on most lists (if I play to the mission). I want be able to change it during league play, unless I have two consecutive losses.
