So, through some good fortune I have aquired 2 Jagdtigers for a grand total of $8

However, I can't seem to find their rules anywhere.

Could the good people of Dakka point me in the right direction?

Do you have EasyArmy? They have a neat function know where you can select a lot of units made by BF and what lists they can be used in. That should point you towards the right book.

From the list it seems like "NUTS" is the only book that has them.
Period Book/PDF Company Platoon
Late-War Nuts Book Panzergrenadierkompanie (17. SS) Schwere Panzerjäger Platoon
Late-War Nuts Book Panzergrenadierkompanie (25.) Schwere Panzerjäger Platoon
Late-War Nuts Book Schwere Panzerjägerkompanie Schwere Panzerjäger Platoon
Late-War Nuts Book Schwere Panzerjägerkompanie Schwere Panzerjägerkompanie HQ
Late-War Nuts Book Volksgrenadierkompanie (12.) Schwere Panzerjäger Platoon
Late-War Nuts Book Volksgrenadierkompanie (277.) Schwere Panzerjäger Platoon

I take it posting the actual stats for a unit are frowned upon?

As was pointed out it is only in NUTS. I mistakenly posted it was Devil's Charge.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

That's the Jagpanther mate.

Of course you could always proxy them as Elefants (p.163 Grey Wolf). There's not much in it.

Given that BF post the full rules on their website I would doubt it. http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=3592

Interesting. An extra point of front armour, anti tank and firepower as well as 8" of range and breakthrough gun over the Elefant.

[sarcasm] Well, King Tiger & JagdTiger had a better armor than Ferdinand/Elefant. JT also had a way bigger gun than Ferdi/Elef which leads into a bigger shell = more gunpowder to power the grenade. Plus a bigger grenade, more explosives it can contain [/sarcasm]

And +6 front armour, 100% immune to frontal fire is big.

True, to an extent. More a Pre-Speer OKW than anything. Speer actually had some idea of how Total War worked.

Panthers actually didn't cost all that much when compared to the Panzer IV it replaced, I guess that's symptomatic of the relative sanity Speer bought with him.

Given that they can't safely stromtrooper thats probably for the best

Its a big chunk of points that will only really be worth while against armies that use super heavies. Against true infantry armies its a joke and against medium tanks its pure overkill.

Theres no kill like overkill!

Though it would be a pretty intimidating TD to see for some people. Might be worth it for the psychological effect

Thats about the only use it has, and slaughtering Schwere Panzer Kompanies of course.

Personally I would ignore it, so what if it kills an entire platoon, they are still cheaper than it is

Some people will use them of course, mostly due to the rule of cool, but super heavy tank destroyers were a failure in the real world which FoW reflects quite well on the tabletop, albeit for different reasons.

I've always had heavy tanks preform well when supported by lots of Infantry. They prevent enemy tanks from going a certain direction while the infantry prevent flanking.

Especially when they are the only tanks in the force. When the Allied player realizes that all the anti-tank weapons he brought can't even scratch your armor things tend to fall apart for them. Its even funnier when they are British and have the No HE rule
