does anybody know if its a specific chapter or any context on the photo?? It looks like a champion/sorcerer, I liked it so much I would like to reproduce it but would like to know more about it if there is anything to know.

It looks a bit like black legion, But what's with the white helmet? I was thinking maybe its a variation from the sons of malice?? I tought the painjob looked really nice, maybe it was an official legion that I don't know about

Yeah, it's a kitbash.

Most of it is new and old CSM bitz, with the power pack and sword being the old metal sorcerer's bitz. The helmet is either emperor's children or a modified regular space marine with a CSM top knot cut off and glued to the top.

oh bummer.. It looks awesome anyway.. yeah I did catch the mix of bits from the aspiring champion body, the force sword and backpack of a sorcerer and a regular chaos spacemarine helmet bits, but I was kind of hoping for some fluf context about the paint scheme, if its part of an army if there was any. Thanks for the help!

I think it is meant to be scavenged helmet and stuff, not a specific designator of a legion

I tought so, but now I can see it's not...
I wasn't concerned about the bits, I just wanted to know about the paint scheme.. but still I wonder what those bits are then. might be another HQ choice.

Yeh that's a Champion or Sorcerer of sorts from a White Dwarf back in 2008 I think. It's from an Apocalypse section of one of the White Dwarf's from 2008, and yes he is of the Black Legion.

His backpack is from one of those older Sorcerers you can find on the GW website, not so sure about the sword because of the arm that it's used for. The torso is the Aspiring Champion torso from the standard CSM box, and the legs and bolt pistol are both standard ones from the CSM kit too. I do also believe his head is a standard CSM head possibly with an Emperor's Children top knot, that, or a standard CSM top-knot head.

The sword is from Mephiston, the backpack is from the old Chaos Sorcerer, most of the other parts are right off of the CSM sprues. The tassel on the helmet is throwing me a bit, and I'm thinking it may be a Dark Elf or Dark Eldar bit.

It's the noise marine head.
