Looks pretty good but I think the 2 Trueborn squads could be kitted out differently. Having Blasters and Splinter Cannons in the same squad is not helping at all. I think you would be far better having one full of Blasters and the other full of Splinter weapons. This way they are far more effective at damaging your chosen target. At the moment if your Blaster models shoot at anything with an armour value the Splinter Cannons cannot fire at all as they cannot hurt it. IMO I'd give the Trueborn as many Blasters as you can as you have ample anti-infantry throughout your list and need to up your anti-armour. Blasters aren't that great anyways so the more the better.

If you really want a Trueborn squad with splinter weapons I would also consider dropping the Splinter Cannons and taking Shardcarbines in their place. I understand you are losing a bit of range but as you will usually be moving every turn your Cannon only grants you one additional shot over the Carbine. Not worth the extra points IMO. With the points saved maybe give the Haemy a Liquifier. Great weapon for 10 pts.

I regularly take Kabalite squads exactly the same as you have here. Nicely set up.

Good luck

Looking good. Maybe give the third Trueborn in the Cannon squad a Shardcarbine for 5pts? Will give you an 18" 3 shot assault weapon for a bit extra dakka to that squad.

Don't bother, you want an upgrade on that haemy. It doesn't matter what it is he just needs something.

Whats the range on the stinger? 12"?

From personal experienc a venom blade is little use, though any bonus in the inevitable challenge he has to face down will be helpful

a stinger pistol is range 12"
so i'll give him a venom blade he probably wont win a challenge but he can try to score a wound

Yeah man, something's better than nothing.

Back in 5th I ran my haemy with a squad of wracks, I wasdoing badly as it was and my only was to charge the tactical marinesin front of me. The wracks caused minor damage, though it was so painful to see my haemy doing nothing at all to my opponent. I'd always say to put a venom blade on as an absolute minimum - you're unlikely to get many hits in, so should maximise on the ones that you do score witha 2+ to wound.

Having said that, sorry for doubling back on myself, maybe the shardcarbine would give you more damage potential, with anything up to 3 turns of shooting, so about 12 shots at 4+, as opposed to a much lower number off cc attacks...

Seems to be one of those catch 22's... I think that anyone else on Dakka would actually tell you to go with shardcarbine, as those shots would do more damage to your enemies HQ over a number of shooting turns than the venom blade would.

What do people think? I'm uncertain on both now.

Sorry Leaf Lord, just don't want to give bad advice, as both are good options to make up excess points
