I played 40 2nd edition and WFB 4th & 5th back in the 1990s, but didn't make the transition to either 3rd and on for 40k or 6th and on for WFB. Instead I switched to small press rules for my existing collections which let me game in the 40k universe how I like. I started playing Warmachine/Hordes when they released the Retribution of Scyrah. I also do WW2 in 15mm (though not Flames of War, I like my miniatures based individually). I also started using my 28mm sci-fi stuff for Warpath from Mantic as some locals play that. I also just started Dystopian Wars using Prussians as I love zeppelins that can shoot lightning.
