batlle wagon - 90 - 4 big shoota, kannon, 1 rokkit - 130pts

Over view of the play style -
Its green tide, with dakka wagon support. The lootas will chill in the battle wagons - and add in the fire from a av14 bunker with 75 ork boys running across the table supported by 9 MANZ with a warboss. the KFF is just a simple cover save all over. Review, i am tempted to make the wagon shoot more with additional 3 rokkit launchers, i am just trying to throw a curve ball, i also want everything to fit in the wagons so i have choices.

id drop some of those armored nobs 9 seems pretty over kill and fill out those boys squads.

I wouldnt give the lootas bw's, they dont really need them since their camping in the back, you could put the three 20 man boyz units in the bw's, and then drop the 15 man squad of boyz to give your manz unit a bw too, that way you'll be able to get to your target faster. I would also drop the manz unit down to 6 or 7 because 9 is kinda overkill and with the points saved from that you can get a squad of grots to camp on your rear objective.

Also I would suggest giving your bw's deffrollas and dropping the rokkit launcha, kannon, and 2 to 3 big shootas, deffrollas are much better AT imo. you may also want to put grot riggers on them too just to make sure they keep moving. hope this helped and best of luck!

9 is kinda over kill, but i like to do it. :F although this gives me inspiration for a new list idea coming up here in a minute.

I find that the deff rolla is fairly meh for 20 points. I have used it many times, and it has bought me some repreviences, but the battle wagons viability is largely dependent on the delivery, with this list i was planning on using them as bunkers, which for one would confuse the enemy, but i do thank you for your opinion. it is correct. now we need to consider list 2.

list 2 is deffinately intriguing, I have yet to try out footslogging manz units in 6th so im not really one to comment there, but im sure their better than they were in 5th since you dont have to roll a d6 for movement. I would almost suggest dropping the boyz units and going all out with the manz units just to see how they hold up. Its probably a totally nuts idea, but something about having 30 meganobz led by 3 megaboss's charging down the field intrigues me.

i have done 20 manz supported by boys with only 20 lootas, and the list was insanely effective. I treaded through 25 missile launchers

I agree with your insight. I have played similar versions of the battle wagon delivery and it has tons of options. Since you are going with units of 10, buy yourself an Aegis Defense line. Loose some of your weapon upgrades on the wagons, or a boy or to from the 15 squad to get it, or a MANz., but the ability to make your opponent have to make you go to cover means that your battlewagon delivery system is not being shot at, or they do not shoot at your Lootas and you are shooting at full BS. Choices, make your opponent make choices.

Behind the ADL when you go to ground you have a 2+. With lootas in units 10, they have the maximum leadership for morale, but are not fearless. So you can voluntarily go to ground. This give them that 2+ from what would have minced them. In your turn you can only snapfire, but hey 5+ down to a 6+ isn't so bad. Especially if the whole squad was going to be wiped out (everything par flashlights have ap6+).
Footslogging MANZ isn't so great I find. 20 is quite a few you had there, but they were only getting shot by missile launchas. Many people take lascannons or plasma and that would just scythe through that unit. I've always stuck mine in a trukk, in a battlewagon I've found they get too hot and attract a disproportionate amount of fire. At least in a trukk I can boost 25" (oh yeah get that red on there) before it dies. But thats just in my experiance...

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined

I see many people using adl with lootas, but one volley from a thunderfire canon and goodbye 2+ cover save.

If brute force doesn't do it, you're not using enough.

as a propa ork i can never find myself hiding behind any sort of defense line or anything like that. Maybe a orkess fort but yeah. I wont be using a ADL, but it seems people think i am crazy, and i have two lists. I will post battle reports of the more favored list.

That is very true, I got hammered one game where I chose not to address the TFC and paid a high price. That would be a priority target to get rid of. Thank you for pointing that out. Just focusing on strengths will get you killed if you do not determine how you plan to counter the counter to your strength.
