This is my first list and i would like some advice.

System: Hordes
Faction: Trollbloods

Caster: Hoarluk Doomshaper, Rage of Dhunia (7pts)
Warbeast: Mulg the Ancient (12pts)
Unit: Trollkin Scouts (Leader and 5 Grunts) (5pts)
Solo: Feralgeist (1pts)

The idea of the list is that Mulg and Hoaluk go up and bash things with the Wild aggression on him while the scouts go for an assassination
now when they stop the scouts Mulg will probably have a pathway and when he dies i will use the Feralgeist to try to kill the caster because if
the opponent tries to kill Mulg then the Scouts can attack the caster.

This is quite low points. I would bump it up to 15 pts and even then its quite tiny.

Your biggest weakness is if someone can kill Mulg you lose as you lose all ability to generate Fury. And even if the Feralgiest revives Mulg you can't force him and you lose the Animus, and Mulg is not scary at all when he only makes two attacks.

I would have at least 2 non-character warbeasts for starting out with. It gives you more Fury generation capabilities and you arn't hinging all your plans on one warbeast. Doomshaper is on the fragile side for Warlocks so its not too hard to kill him.

Mulg is nasty, but really only in the confines of a larger list.

I'd start with a Mauler and an Axer as your first beasts. The Axer in particular works well with Doomshaper as speed buffs are his thing. On his Feat turn you can give a beast +5 Spd and Pathfinder (Feat+Axers Animus)

I'd say the first list. Its good enough for learning the game, although I would have a different beast instead of 2 Maulers. Until you hit 35 points or higher there is rarely a reason to have 2 of the same beast. If you have 2 different beasts you have 2 different Animi instead of just 1. This gives you more options.
