If a Brotherhood Champion were to die, and his Heroic Sacrifice was successful on a character model, could the character be Look Out Sir(red?) by someone else in his/her unit? I've been wondering this for a while, and the help of the Dakka community would be much appreciated as it would settle the argument that I am currently in.

No, as Heroic Sacrifice does not cause (unsaved) Wounds, and only Wounds can be LOS!'d.
Edit: To be exact, only Wounds allocated to a character may be LOS!'d. For example, you may not LOS! failed DT tests or Gets Hot!, because those wounds are never allocated to the character, the character just suffers them.
