The cloth was by far the hardest part because I greenstuffed it and im not great with using greenstuff so the cloth was very hard to paint. I also couldnt decide what color to make the cloth, so there are five different layers of paint on it. There is a red, black, brown, back to black, and finally the brown it is in the pictures.

Miliput is way easier to make cloaks n such type things, its basically an epoxy with a clay-like appearance. Greenstuff for the fine detail.

Anyway, onto the model...LOVE IT! Personally i think he needs some splattered blood on that apron though. Still looks awesome even without it, just unorkily clean lol

Looks really good! however I would have to agree with Vineheart01, he need more blood splatter.

I want to do one of my own here soon, so would you have any tips on the cloak( which I think is the hard part) or anything else?

Also should he be on a bigger base? ( like the other HQ?)

Well I was going to put blood on the apron but I spent so much time painting it that I didnt want to mess it up by putting blood on it and making it look terrible, so maybe in the future I will add some splatter onto it.

As far as any tips for the apron, I would suggest making it smaller than I did, I used too much greenstuff to start off with which lead to me rushing it. I would also recommend making the folds in the cloth very sharp and defined because it will make it a lot easier to paint.

The model that GW made for Grotsnik is on a 25mm base so that is what I used.

Understandable, its the same reason i fear for drilling holes in the barrels of my bigger guns. Shootas...i have tons of those...dakkaguns or big shootas i kinda have a limited supply of.

And yea i think Grotsnik is the only small base boss orks have. I thought he was med too so i was using a random warboss to proxy him and one of my friends asked why i was doin that
