Would you guys happen to know any On-line dealers that are parting out Flames of War items from Battlefront boxes? With the new Open Fire goodies I assume someone must be capitalizing on this market but I cannot seem to find a dealer. Guidance appreciated.
BTW sorry if this is the wrong spot for this post, but the swap shop did not seem appropriate since I am neither buying or selling in this post.

There is at least one e-bay seller, who sells tanks from Open Fire - keywords flames of war new plastic - should be enough for you to find him and look up his stock. He is US based, thus his shipping rate is not very attractive to me, but you could find it affordable. As for other sellers, I dont know any, because unlike GW products, FoW is not that much about bits... Each soldier is one bit and thus they probably cannot capitalize on them. Also FoW tanks consist of hull, turret and tracks - selling tracks only will leave you with remaining parts and very high possibility to be stuck with them forever, cause nobody would want incomplete 1:100 scale tank...
I am also planning to pick up Open Fire set and sell allied forces either here or on e-bay. I've monitoring the e-bay trends, but there are not that much of these products - and I have no idea why.

I partially it is because with two boxes of open fire, you darn near have complete playable armies in the 1500 point rane. I can't think of any other game system with plastic minis in the starter box that gets you from 0-60mph like that.

depends on what you are looking for. I use Noble Knight GAmes for my BF bits serivces stuff. As for Bits service like GW style no.Which i do not understand why.IIt seems to me a untapped market. Depends on what you are looking for i may have it. I buy up Auction lots of the leftovers all of the time for trades.
Checked feebay no one selling bits.Just the open fire set Availible in bits form.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm currently looking for the StuH 42 gun barrels that come in the BF Stug G box set. I'd like to use them on the plastic Stugs that came in the Open Fire box because my FJ Pioneers are allowed to field a platoon of 3 or 4 pure StuH 42's.
If any of you have any spare barrels I would appreciate the opportunity to acquire them. Please contact me at bandu4@aol.com if you can assist.
Thanks!
RD

You can easily just saw down the barrel. Unless someone is an accuracy nazi then no one will no the difference to barrels. I have to point out the differences to my opponent just to explain it.

I hear what you guys are saying on cutting down the standard barrels. And normally that is likely what I would do. However, this is the one army list that I may actually take to a big tournament and I wanted it 100% BF accurate.
I would ideally like four of the barrels but I would settle for three. I could paypal a couple bucks to whomever has them. I'm at bandu4@aol.com Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh and yes they are the shortest barrels that come in the GBX25 Stg G platoon box set. Thanks.
