I read somewhere a few weeks agoe about this, but I can't seem to find it.

But how should you use the Airbrush Thinner from Vallejo?

Got a "71.161" 200ml bottle, says new formula if that helps

As much as it needs to allow it to spray smoothly, but not so much that you'll be there all day building up a coat.

It will vary depending on all sorts of things like paint used, pressure, spray distance, finish required, brush quality, needle size, workflow habits etc

Best thing to do is start with something easy to adjust from, like a 2:2:1 paint:thinner:water, and tweak from there. (I usually go for a higher thinner content, and less water tbh, but that's just my preferences ymmv)

Practice, observation, experimentation, and experience really is the only thing that will teach what the right ratios for are for you as each setup is unique once a user gets hold of the buttons.

Orki pretty much nailed it.

I usually use one or two drops of the Thinner (depending on the amount of paint, again you need to just get a feel for it). Then add 1 drop of water.

There's no single ratio. It's the matter of preference and paint consistency.
Play around with it to find an appropriate one.
