Apologies for starting a thread that seems to crop up fairly regularly, but previous threads have seemed a little US centric.

As the title suggests, I've just finished a tin of Citadel spray, so I'm open to suggestions for alternatives.

More concerned with quality of finish than value for money, but I like to spend my cash intelligently!

Personally I use the black 'primer' from Halfords, basically the tins of car paint that they sell; Its not actually primer but it works fine. I have undercoated 3 and a half armies with it so far and I have had no issues with chipping and it takes paint fine.

Chaos Black is one of the best finishes around. It's just pretty expensive.

I use halfords primers too, cheap and reliable.
