Question, an IG or marine player turns a skyshield landing pad into a parking lot. I DS my mawloc directly onto the pad "rules state the top of the pad is open ground" TFtD goes off, probably not killing many vehicles. Now the enemy has to move models to make room for the mawlocs base. TFtD states surviving models must be moved minimum distance to clear the path. Can models be moved more than the 1 inch bubble away to take them off the pad to save them *mostly considering vehicles*. Or would they be caught in the "models that cant be moved out of the way are destroyed" clause.

Since it says that they have to move minimum safe distance to be 1" away, I'd say they can be pushed off so to speak. Maybe this would cause a jump down test?

The shield should be considered flat for all intents and purposes, since it is not a ruin and is not a building, it simple causes a dif terrain test to move through it, so pushing things off it will not cause a jump down test as ir has no levels ( only ruins and buildings do) Automatically Appended Next Post: Also Marlon isn't min safe distance, just min distance, if. It cannot be placed its dead, good for killing parking.lots

There is still the standard rules for DSing as well, unless unfurled the Mawloc would scatter and could potentially end up where it would mishap from impassable terrain. You and your opponent would have to discuss what the furled "barricade/battlement" walls count as, I assume just difficult and possibly dangerous but not impassable. Now surround the Landing pad with impassable terrain and you might cause some major issues.

Just note that only those under the marker are moved. So if they are stuck in place by other models, then they will be eaten.

^^ but you'd have to hit a unit that was completely surrounded by other units for this to work.
If there was a 1" gap between the units, then an infantry unit hit would all funnel out the gap.
Tanks however may not be so lucky.

I was assuming that parking lot meant vehicles. Of course it could be a mixed unit though.

I have run up against both setups. Vehicles alone and vehicles surrounded by models to keep anyone from assaulting up. The models would actually make it easier to auto destroy the vehicle. i was really wondering if there is any sort of hit taken by vehicles alone.
