Simple question - can a unit that is out of LOS from enemy barrage benefit from Night Fight?

Yes they can, Barrage doesnt ignore cover saves so they can be taken.

That's what I thought but unfortunately all the judges were IG players... Luckily didn't matter - the barrage couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

While Barrage does not ignore cover saves, it does determine allowing cover saves from center of the blasts, so TO might very well conclude that range for gaining Stealth / Shrouded from is also determined from the center of the blast.

RAW, you do gain Stealth / Shrouded normally and obviously cannot choose to fire Barrage at targets over 36" away.
