So i am heading down to a local tourny - double force org optional - 2000pts
Here is my list
Army List:
Head Quarters - TOTAL: 425pts Mega Armored Warboss - Attack Squigg, Cybork Body, Boss Pole - 130pts
Mad Dok GrotSnik - 160pts
Big Mek - KFF, Power Klaw, BP, Attack Squigg, Eavy Armoy, Cybork Body - 145pts
I have run a similar list with the Mad Dok shielding a Green Tide with a full 30 Mob that did really well in 6th, but footslogging with MANz is going to be tough. If your opponent doesn't move out of their way, they cannot assault until Turn 3. Still, 101 wounds walking across the table is going to be tough for anyone to handle. I bet you will surprise the hell out of all of your opponents.
Also, you cannot give your Boyz Mob Nob Cybork Bodies without giving them to the whole unit.
I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time.
I am using mad docks rules, at 5pts per modle according. Where does it say i have to give the upgrade to the entire unit?
If i am not mistaken i did everything correct, as far as results went
i came out with
1 loss 2 wins at the tourny.
First game - the one i actually got a full battle report for - will do later,
we both agreed the terrain was terrible, and we want a rematch with the same lists
Second game - i have the deployment forgot the rest it was a massacre in the ork favour
Third game - chaos really fudge some rolls and it was a massacre in the orks favour.

2500 Brothers of Sanguinor
2500 Purifiers 750 : Bad Wolves
Congratulations on the wins. What army did you play second? I'm curious to know how the MANZ did, and how they got into combat.

I am not trying to bust your balls about the Cybork Bodies thing (I wish you were right, I would give my Mob Nobz Cybork every time), but to do so is not legal. I just want other Ork payers to be armed with the facts about their codex.
Ork Codex, page 96: Da Big Dok: ' Any unit in an army including Grotsnik may upgrades its member to have cybork bodies for +5 points per model.'
Ork FAQ, page 5: Q. How many units in an army with Mad Dok Grotsnik can be upgraded to have cybork bodies? Are there any restrictions (apart from non-vehicle) or can it even be Gretchin or Independent Characters? (p59)
A. Any number of units can be upgraded. This includes Gretchin and Independent Characters (except for unique characters), effectively giving them a 5 pt discount on the cybork body upgrade.
The unit takes the upgrade,so ALL of the models in the unit would have to take it. If you look for the history on this in the Dakka search engine you come up with pages of dudes trying to argue that he does or does not allow Allies to gain Cybork, so if you don't believe me, perhaps you should ask this question at large in YMDC.

Classic GW bad wording in my opinion, in all truth though the body upgrade never came to pay off - as in i never needed to roll the save as such, between the KFF and them just being insta-gibed. What i find is, it says the unit can take the upgrade, at 5pts per model basis, but it is arguable in either case, that i can selectively distribute the upgrade among the unit, or be forced to give the upgrade to the entire unit. It really is going to come down who is the best rules lawyer, and i honestly hate it. Thank you for the possible correction, and catching a small error. In the future, i will not run the cybork mod on just the one nobs in the unit again, because the rules in my opinion are written fuzzy and FAQ'd improperly. Never the less avoid the debate, i will being doing a write up here soon enough.

Alright Dakka Here is the battle report more or less. I forgot to take alot of photos...
The Deployment
Spoiler:
Ork Deployment Close up
Spoiler:
Grey Knight/ IG combo Deployment closeup
Spoiler:
To summarize we hated the terrain. It favored neither of us and random objective are harsh.
Middle of the game
Spoiler:
My orky tirelessly try to advance. My warboss with some mega armored nobs are in reserve. The Ig Grey knight combo has 3 fliers in reserve with some death cult assassins and two platoon command squads in them for objective holding. Due to lack of photos i forgot to take, but here you can see a clear mistake i made. My mega armored nob unit i deployed is in the back on the wrong flank. They should have been with the big meks, because i had a out flanking warboss. This had cost me the game.
My warboss out flanking.
Spoiler:
This out flank was good, but you can see the clear saturation of terminators. I just couldnt move things up fast enough.
Later in the game
Spoiler:
Here is i think around turn 3 or 4. But as you can see again that mega armored nobs just too much on that side of the field. And the fliers came in. The one Valkyire gets first blood killing my lootas. My lootas have terrible amount of shots at the air planes. They more or less go uncontested
End of the game
Spoiler:
Here is the end of the game more or less. Units in the fliers kill off more lootas. I kill off a bunch of paladins. And he just claims all the objectives on my deployment.
End game result:
IG - 10 VP with objectives and first blood and line breaker Orks - 5 VP with objectives and line breaker, missed slay the warlord by 3 inches. Sad panda
