well its penal legion..... it might be fun but it wont last long

I've always been confused about this, don't you have to have 50% of your army start on the field?

yeah, that's true. Forgot about that. would need to field some units to start. Would probably have the 3 prient/penal squads and the heavy flamer sentinels in reserve then

Well since your penal legions cant take upgrades, that leaves everything par infantry to your sentinels. Regardless I wouldn't take a heavy flamer on a sentinel, I would either go autocannons or lascannons. If you expect lighter armour, especially on the sides then take autocannons. But anything like a landraider pops up, you'd need all of those 6 lascannons to hurt it.
