Stalwart Space Marine

Okay, I read my codex and looked at the Sternguard. The special ammo rules say each bolt gun armed vet can fire it, replacing the bolter profile with the ammo, including the Bolter part of a combi. It's late and I'm just making sure... Combi-plasmas, flamers, and meltas can all fire the special ammo?

I ain't got time to die, I'm too busy exterminating!
Now, we descend into battle like Angels from on high. The Emperor depends upon us as his messengers, and we shall know no fear! WE ARE SPACE MARINES!
Space Marines can only be male because marine implants only take with the male physiology. Males and females have differing hormone levels in terms of estrogen, testoterone, etc. Thank you for reading this. |

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

If you take sternguard they should all have combi something, at 5 points a model you will easily make payback. I run 10 combimeltas and combat squad them out of a drop pod. It is very rare the turn they come into play they don't take a 250 plus point chunk out of my opponents army. They cost 360 with pod the way i have them equipped but in all honesty the ability to reliably target and kill your enemies most choice unit is well worth the risk.
