Greetings,

In addition to starting an Emperor's Children army, I'll be working on Dark Angels, thanks to the Dark Vengeance set and the upcoming release of the Codex/amazing new models. I wanted something a bit more challenging in terms of Company badges so I chose to opt for the 4th Company. This plog will comprise mainly of 4th Co. and Deathwing minis (lots of Deathwing) so I can field a variety of lists using both companies, or one individually.

Here's a test mini I did the other day. It needs some touch ups but is otherwise pretty well finished.

I've begun working on a couple tactical squads and a captain so I should have those along soonish.

Looks good mate, but surely you're going to get sick of painting checks...

I really like what you've done there, I've been thinking of adding some 4th company DA as allies to my UM, but thought the knee pad might be too hard for me to do, how difficult did you find it?
Can't wait to see more though, especially the Deathwing.

@Million: I chose the 4th because of the checks. I intend to do a Lamenters army at some point, so I'm not really afraid of checks I suppose.

@Sir Samuel Buca: I didn't find it overly difficult, but I've had practice with other minis painting the checks. Just takes a bit of patience.

Hope to have more soon. Lots more when the Codex comes out.
