Day Z will soon be stand alone, will it be fee-to-play? or what?

I don't think it will be stand alone...
It's a mod... and already free-to-play.
I do know it will be an official part of Arma 3 because they hired they guy who made it.

If its a standalone game then why wouldn't the developer want to see some sort of profit for it? I mean the time and money spent would kind of require the guy to see some money coming in otherwise he'd be in a deficite...

Is Arma 3 even still being made? The lead developers/owners are kind of in prison. =P
