I'm pondering the idea of a DA successor chapter and came across these bases

I'd love to get my hands on some shoulder pads with the Fleur de lis on them to match but I haven't been able to find any.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

It should not be too difficult to press mould them using Green Stuff.

A decal sheet would save you the trouble of painting them if you are all right with a 2D effect.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

You could also probably get a fleur-de-lys paper punch from a craft store and use it on paper or plastic as a stencil.

My wife got me a stencil sheet with about 30 different FDL on it for a couple bucks a year or so back from Michaels.

Yep. Either press mold and go, or decals.

Speaking of which:

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
