hey people
just after an opinion or two, do you think this is a good deal? i just bought of ebay, a squad of 5 assualt termies, 3 with lightning
claws, 2 with thunder hammers and shields, assembled but unpainted, all for 10 squids inc postage, i thought bargain, which brings me to my next question, can chaos termies take th/ss?? soz dont have the codex yet as im a nooooooob lol.

Well, trading sea animals for plastic miniatures is of dubious legality. Depending on how much these squids cost you, you may have gotten a deal.

Chaos Termies cannot take TH/SS.

If you paid £5 for them, yeah, excellent deal. If you paid £100 for them, probably not. How much did they set you back?

Pretre is right, no TH/SS I'm afraid, you could always cut off their arms and replace them with other bits. I was going to suggest allying in some marines from another Codex as renegades but I've just checked the allies matrix and unfortunately that's not a possibility.

ha you yanks crack me up, in a good way though, obviously i meant great british pounds or quid as it were ( hence squids ), i never know if americans are joking or not, but as you answered my query i will give you the benefit of the doubt, cheers pretre :-)

8 quid and 2 quid p and p, i was going too use them with chaos
as fallen angels, i basically have dark vengeance plus a chaos tac squad and chaos termies and use the dark angel tac squad, termies and bikes as fallen, was gunna do the same with the new ones, i know it prob wouldnt hold up in a tourney but i only play beer and pretzel style friendlys with mates.

Yeah, I'd call £10 a good deal. If you're playing completely in a beer and pretzel environment, as you said I'd agree with considering asking your gaming friends if it's ok to use Chaos Marines allied with Dark Angels, with the Dark Angels allies representing the Fallen, as you say. So you could use the Lightning Claw Terminators with your Chaos, and your TH/SS with the Dark Angels side.

We have a guy in my local gaming group that uses a turncoat sisters force allied with his Chaos Marines, and it's a really cool list that stands up on the tabletop yet has good theme behind it.

well yea i do that chaos/fallen thing with my mates already, it works quite well really, do you think many people would have a problem if i rolled up with this army, say in a gaming shop??

just depends on your gaming enviornment... some people will be cool and others wont.. take it one game at a time but always have a backup plan just in case they arent cool

OP, you got a good bargain, however it might be wise to get the codex before buying models in the future so you have a better idea what to get
