Has anyone got their hands on one these yet? How does it match up size wise for an imperial guard hydra?

I have been thinking about using the turret on a Leman Russ hull might look cool

Not too sure on size, but I think it would make a LR too front heavy. If size is right, it would look great on a Rhino chassis.

Its a bit small for 40k.

Hmm do you have a direct comparison?

While probably different proportions of length, height, and width, they look the right size (most likely not as wide/tall but longer than 40k). Unfortunately me scouring the web does not have a direct comparison so I'll have to photo jump

40k Russ vs a 1/48 KV2 with a bigger barrel

I would say its actually going to be far too big a turret. Looking at how big the normal tank is compared to the IS2 and then the IS2 compared to the Russ I would say that turret is actually almost the same height as the Russ chassis is so its gonna look pretty awful.

Going by the pictures I think it's going to look even worse on a Russ - would probably look like two Russes sat on top of each other.
