Hello, DAKKA faithful I was wondering what epoxy you guys find sufficient enough on price as well as amount. A buddy of mine had suggested something from a hardware store but to my dismay he doesn't play anymore an has forgot what it was called. Which is why I need the help of modeling enthusiasts such as your selves.

You could get GS from the source - and not the repackaged GW stuff (Polymeric Systems Inc make it - GW just repacks, marks up the price and resells it).

It all depends on what you will be using it for. If doing large sculpting jobs, a stiffer putty like procreate is better for the bulk and GS for the details.

I recommend just hitting up Ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Green-Stuff-36-Kneadatite-Blue-Yellow-Sculpting-Putty-Warhammer-/251170198187?pt=Games_US&hash=item3a7ae912ab

3 feet of the stuff for 15 bucks. GW just repackages it and adds their absurd price tag to it.

This is the exact product I bought to put robes on all my Deathwing terminators and it is literally the same exact product.

This is of course you are looking for green stuff and not something large scale.

Kneadatite is the brand maker of Green stuff.

You can also try white stuff, brown stuff, procreate and magicsculp(t)

Try Ebay or just do a google search for kneadatite

I've used Sculpey clay to do a lot of modelling.

WARNING: Raw Sculpey on GW's plastics models, if left too long, will harden the Sculpey clay, causing it to flake off and the plastic will have been chemically destroyed.

SOLUTION: Once you've modelled what you want, put the model in a coffee mug that has enough water to completely submerse the model. Put the mug in a microwave for a minute, let it sit until the water is at room temperature, then check the model to see if the clay has hardened. Repeat the process until it's fully hardened (usually 2-3 cycles).

Milliput white, I think it's the "fine" grade, is much easier in my experience.

It's spelled "cavalry." NOT "calvary."

No, Kneadatite is JUST the BRAND. Blue/yellow is the type (because kneadatite comes in different colours) and Polymeric Systems Inc (PSInc) are the manufacturer.

Thanks for the help guys. I've decided on the 3ft of green stuff, lastly you've made this process a lot easier on a newbie to the hobby.
