For the next Ork Codex, a fun idea for Ork Boyz and/or Nobz would be the option to replace the Slugga for an extra Choppa or the Choppa for an extra Slugga.

For a model with 2 Sluggas (and no Choppa), we now have the Gunslinger rule so that is taken care of.

For a model with 2 Choppas and no Slugga, the old Snakebites, I was thinking either reroll to hit, or reroll to wound, or both or the choice to choose reroll to hit or wound ala Wolf claws.

Essentially there would be 4 options for Boyz. The current 2, plus a dedicated CC and a somewhat shootier CC.

This would also be handy for Biker models since they will be using the Bikes guns 100% of the time.

Since there are trade-offs for every possibility I say 5 pts for good ol' Slugga/Choppa with a 1 pt increase for the Shoota, DubbaSlug, and DubbaChop variants.

After doing the math on this over the weekend I realized there is no reason to stick with the basic Slugga Choppa boy unless the Choppa had a reroll to wound on 1's or something. Maybe 2 Choppas allows to reroll to wound on everything? Sort of like Scything talons for Tyranids?
