									Here's what I've got so far. Still needs some work but I figured I'd see what Dakka says and if you guys catch something I missed. Idea is to set up a small firebase to guard a home objective, while throwing a massive amount of bodies at the enemy. I would need to get a few more shoota boyz, but other than that I could run this list with little difficulty. 
  
  I'm heavily considering swapping out the heavy weapons teams, the aegis defence line, and the CCS, for 2 lord commissars to run in two massive 40 man blobs with power axes/maces and maybe krak grenades as well. Infinitely more manly, and I've found that lord commissars can survive most close combats fairly easily when I've used them thanks to all the expendable sargents. Other option is to just throw a few russes in for even MORE anti horde.

									uhhh,wahh,ummm,oookkk thenn. Well i could see it working if you perhaps put some sort of transport in the list, for example take out some shootas and throw in as many transport vehicles as you can in there, that is of course if you have any.

 That's the point though, to NOT take transports. Think of it as green tide, I just don't have a 180 ork boyz laying around

									ok i see what you mean, basically starting as far up as possible, then rushing in to the enemy with over whelming odds as they try to take you out. They better hope they play tyranids.
  
  I think it is interesting all in all, i have never seen a 1750 army list before that has no transports, not even any vehicles.
  
  I know you would screw me over 10X over with that mob because my D.E. dark lances would do nothin against that.

 That's the idea. My area has been bringing lots of light anti tank lately so I figured I'd try and annoy em a bit. 
 
  Granted, I would not be against adding 3 or 6 leman russes to thist list and pulling a few guardsmen

									It depends on your strategy that game, i mean I would only switch out for Leman Russ Battle Tanks whenever you know that you might need them in a match.

									I would like to see more ork units so you can get a few more power klaws in there. From range you've got a couple of anti tank guns, but I imagine it would mostly take shape in the form of pks. So you could loose a couple of guard, take 4x20 shoota squads all with pk nobs. Alternatively 3x20 shoota squads with pk, the take your lord commissars idea and get a couple of power mauls in the guardsmen so they can do something against vehicles.
  
  I would love so see someone field a vendetta or equivalent against that. oh three lascannon shots... whoopty doo...

 Yeah only problem is lord commissars are an  HQ choice.
 
  To get to three ork mobs, I would have to make them the primary detachment, only letting me take one lord.
 
  Then you run into the problem where I can't run a huge amount of ork units yet as I have only about 40 something odd shoota boyz, 10 lootas, 40 sluggas, and a few deffkoptas (aside from the usual collection of warbosses, KKF mek, and  PK nobs out the wazoo.
 
  Working on a commissar lord type list. Problem is I keep wanting to turn it into a power blob list by giving the blobs krak grenades, meltabombs, and power axes.   
 
 Who knows, maybe that's the way to go with this.
