In the Wasteland

Chaos has a good list for just 600 points. But facing a monolith? I dunno. Looking forward for the report.

Necrons are at 820 points.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

"You need not fear us, unless you are a dark heart, a vile one who preys on the innocent; I promise, you can’t hide forever in the empty darkness, for we will hunt you down like the animals you are, and pull you into the very bowels of hell." Iron - Within Temptation

Deployment
Unfortunantly I have no pictures just that of my army because I did not think I would be doing this as a battle report. We Played a purge the alien match with Hammer and Anvil deployment. He placed some ruins and a gate on one half and I placed a house on the other half. I won roll of and deployed on the side with the house on. I put the cultists and my Apostle in the house for cover from the monolith and my rhinos on either side. I expected him to put his immortals on the right so that is where I put my nurgl bikers so that they could kill them and meltgun the monolith. The gun squad with melta on right and close combat squad on left.
The necron player then put his monolith in the middle of the deployment zone and put his immortasl his right (my left) to escape my bikers. He then put his 20 warriors with the destroyer lord and overlord on the right-hand side.
He failed to steal innitative and I had first turn.
Turn 1 Chaos:
The first thing I did was make a mistake. Instead of driving my bikes around to the Immortals I sent them straight at the warriors. They rapid fired and only managed to get 3 kills not taking into account the resurection protocal. My tanks moved up and fired their havoc launchers at the Immortals missing at first but then got a direct hit down to twin-linked and got a direct hit on my second havoc aswell. I rolled well and my opponent rolled teribly failing 8 saves out of nine they (apparently) have two wounds and so he had one left. My cultists also moved up in the movement face and after the havoc launchers had shot they did to. The autoguns got in range with ease as they killed the final Immortal failing exactly two of his three armour saves. The dice gods were not in his favour and I got First blood and 1 kill point. The warriors made all their resurection protocals.
Turn 1 Necrons:
The warriors moved further up to get into the ruins of the cemetary. They then rappid fired at the Nurgle bikers along with the destroyer lord and killed all 3 of them giving him 1 kill point. The Arrow weapon on his overlord then blew up one of my rhinos and it was my turn to roll badly as hed killed all my close combat men in side. The monolith fired at my cultists but it scattered of.
Score so far
Chaos:2
Necrons:2
