Picked these up off a member here awhile back and finally getting around to these 30+ warriors. They were stripped of 2 or 3 different layers of paint someone had done, so I wasnt working with the cleanest models. Im currently hurrying to get these painted to a table top standard so I can buy more... Cant buy anything new until all the old is painted right? lol So just need to clean up his feet, pick out the highlights on the gun, and I'll be replacing the green rod with red. Oh yeah, and Im going to pick up some water effect to make the red tube look glossy instead of flat red.

Opinions?

Currently I have 8 models painted like this, 8 more almost done, and that'll just leave about 20 more lol. Hopefully I'll have these guys done by the end of the week. Not trying to win a award on this, just trying to get the warriors painted and looking good while all next to each other.

Oh yeah, bases too, need to finish the bases Just cant decide what base to do with these guys as they're not your typical necrons. Working on the back story but im thinking an "Egyptian" type background with their sand color

I like that choice of colors a great deal. There is a lot to be said for the Bone/mummy/egyptian style of necron painting.

Thanks man, I wanted to avoid the normal metal looking necrons with these guys

Great color scheme, looks more "egyptian" and "stick to the codex" than many others I have seen

VERY nice colors. Really good work.

That said, Showcase rules clearly require that the model be completely finished, including the base, so I'm moving this over to regular P&M.

Definitely looking forward to seeing more of these guys, though.
