8) No, it specifies in overwatch only once per turn. You can choose not to overwatch against the first X units that assault you
9)40k is permissive, it says waht you CAN do. If you cannot find a rule saying you CAN choose other psychic schools,you may not.
10) Yes. You choose at the start of its movement what mode it is in, unles something prevents this such as locked velocity, evade, etc
1750 1v1 battles are roughly 2 hours as a standard, but that is tournament play when youre up to speed on the rules. It is not unusual for your first few games to take longer, as you will spend longer looking up rules.
