Hi All,
I used to play 40k back in 3rd edition, Blood Angels for a while, and a lil bit of Chaos.
Gave it all up once I went to college though.
A few months ago I was just curious as to what the models were looking like these days for some drawing references and I discovered Dark Vengeance.
The value behind this box set was amazing, and the model designs were awesome. I vowed to buy that set to play with friends and introduce them into the game and just paint those.
Then my roommate bought me the Ravenwing battleforce and some DA Veterans for Xmas. Needless to say, this basically made my decision to start playing Dark Angels.
I always loved their look, and their lore. Didn't have youtube back when i was a kid and now I'm super pumped to get back into painting with all the awesome tutorials out there.
With the new models and pieces, I'm very excited.
Any other Dakka members in San Francisco or the Bay Area?

I know that there is often quite a lot going on in the Bay Area as far as 40k is concerned. I know that there is the Bay Area Open GT but as a resident of the UK I'm afraid that that's as far as my knowledge on the matter goes. Welcome to Dakka anyway.
