Hey all. I'm trying to put together a 1750p list for local tournaments every once in a while. Have I missed anything important with my list construction? I'm still a bit new to the nuances of 6e.
Librarian - 65p most likely divination to go with the 30 infantry, giving them twin-linking, ld10, and ATSKNF
CCS, vox, chimera - 110p mainly orders rerolling cover and get-back-in-the-fight for units that have gone to ground 2+ cover behind the aegis
5 deathwing knights - 235p hopefully able to give me some push back so that I am not entirely vulnerable to assault
platoon command squad, vox - 35p mans the quad gun with BS4 and issues running or FRFSRF orders
infantry squad, LC, vox - 75p commonly will join to a unit of 30 to secure a home objective
infantry squad, LC - 70p
infantry squad, LC - 70p
veterans, 3x PG, chimera - 170p I needed a second IG troops unit, and the list felt weak in AP2
6 scout snipers, camo cloaks - 84p A cheap DA troops unit, able to take a home objective away from the main IG, snipe enemy MC and fortification guns, and potentially move out to secure line breaker near the end of the game
Vendetta - 130p I have two forgeworld vendettas, and people seem to think they're great nowadays, so I would feel silly not including them
Vendetta - 130p
3x black knights, melta bombs - 131p black knights seem pretty good, and they let me get another 3 plasma weapons into the list for cheaper than another IG veteran squad. their cover saves, t5, close combat ability etc. make them seem pretty flexible for fixing problems
Colossus - 140p I've run into a lot of frustrating "I sit in my fortified camo cloak'd shrouded cover on my objective" situations. now that mech is less common I'm hoping these will earn their keep. my leman russes and hydras did not seem to be performing in 6e
Colossus - 140p
Whirlwind - 65p 65 points? seems like an obvious choice to me
Aegis, quad gun - 100p you can't hide behind a wall if you don't buy a wall
1750p
Any suggestions, ideas, or list archetypes that I have no hope against are welcome!
