I thought the 13th/14 was the date of the 40k GT. Are they on the same day?

Yes they are the same day. The 40k tourney is 2 day as well. My understanding is that the long term goal is to turn Brawler Bash into a 3 day gaming event, with 2 day tourney's for WFB and 40k and tourneys for Warmachine, Infinity, etc in the future.

If this event is run again similarly next year (3000 points for fantasy, no grand armies, no comp score) I will definitely try to attend! Although it'd be nice if they'd put the date a little further away from AdeptiCon. It's just barely in Friday-afternoon-driving-range for me (5-6 hours depending on traffic)

Please take a bunch of pics Sergeant Horse

This tournament was amazing! Very smoothly run, and a great chance to play some of the best fantasy players on the east coast. Plus, there were some spectacular armies there on display! Nothing better than playing against beautifully painted armies at 3000 pts.

Couple of my guys took pictures, there was some crazy armies on display. I thought I had a pretty tough VC army, but some of these guys put me to shame, did well though, finished 23rd overall, won 3 games pretty massively, and got my face beat in twice, but everybody I played was super friendly so it was all fun.

I'll see can I get some of the photos up on our facebook and here

Thanks! I found a link to the standings there, too, but it didn't list what army book people used, unfortunately.

Battle points wise I think the top three were VC, Ogres, and maybe Empire?

Thanks for that!

Wow, the 3rd best general finished like 14th overall (4th best general got 1st overall). Not sure what the sports scoring was but there are a lot of low sports scores. I'm not a huge fan of that... I'm guessing you had to rank your opponents 1-5?

Correct on the sports ranking. I'm not a fan of that system either.

Armies on parade:

And a nice summary of a chaos dwarf player's games at the link below (conveniently, it's also the army shown in the preview pic of the video above!).
