Subject: Brawler Bash VI Fantasy GT - April 13th/14th 2013
Brawler Bash is the largest wargaming event in the Carolinas and it is with great pleasure that I'd like to announce the dates for Brawler Bash VI.
Now in its sixth year, we are holding not only the traditional Warhammer Fantasy GT, but are also running our first Warhammer 40KGT as well. Please find the details below:
- 3,000 Points, no Grand Armies
- Painting and Sportsmanship scores included, but no Composition Scoring
- Five games overall using Swiss pairing (three games on Saturday, two games on Sunday)
- Prizes will be based on attendance (with 100% of money collected going to prize support)
We are limited to fifty players for the Fantasy Event, and you can sign up by emailing bullcitywargaming@yahoo.com. We encourage you to sign up, but know that only paid registrations will hold a spot.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at bullcitywargaming@yahoo.com. We look forward to seeing you there!

Yes they are the same day. The 40k tourney is 2 day as well. My understanding is that the long term goal is to turn Brawler Bash into a 3 day gaming event, with 2 day tourney's for WFB and 40k and tourneys for Warmachine, Infinity, etc in the future.

If this event is run again similarly next year (3000 points for fantasy, no grand armies, no comp score) I will definitely try to attend! Although it'd be nice if they'd put the date a little further away from AdeptiCon. It's just barely in Friday-afternoon-driving-range for me (5-6 hours depending on traffic)
Please take a bunch of pics Sergeant Horse

This tournament was amazing! Very smoothly run, and a great chance to play some of the best fantasy players on the east coast. Plus, there were some spectacular armies there on display! Nothing better than playing against beautifully painted armies at 3000 pts.

Couple of my guys took pictures, there was some crazy armies on display. I thought I had a pretty tough VC army, but some of these guys put me to shame, did well though, finished 23rd overall, won 3 games pretty massively, and got my face beat in twice, but everybody I played was super friendly so it was all fun.
I'll see can I get some of the photos up on our facebook and here
Wow, the 3rd best general finished like 14th overall (4th best general got 1st overall). Not sure what the sports scoring was but there are a lot of low sports scores. I'm not a huge fan of that... I'm guessing you had to rank your opponents 1-5?

Correct on the sports ranking. I'm not a fan of that system either.
