There is a little bit of disparity in the paint quality here. The tactical marines and captain are over 6 years old when I was a newer painter, and they have seen plenty of games...without any varnish.

And C&C welcome. The bikers are being primed still so pics will be added of them later. I have created a 1000 pt army of these guys and it does ok...but I am lacking on heavy support. I want to wait to see what is being planned for Black Templars before I invest a lot of money further expanding it. Tau is my focus at the moment. I just got introduced to Forge World though, and their Black Templar Venerable Dread is...amazing. And I figure no matter what a dread will be useful so that will probably be my next addition.

I think you could benefit a lot from using some washes to really define your lines on a lot of the white, just some thin line work with a fine detail brush along the hard edges should really help this pop, It will take a little bit to get used to, but once you master it you can really make the helmets like that Terminator stand out. and the edges of the wings.

Your faces also need a little bit of work, I would try using something like Cadian flesh in thin light coats, and once it's dry using a flesh style wash (Reikland Fleshshade from Citadel works), once again in light coats. It does look like your paint needs to be thinned a touch more as well, a few thin coats is much better than one thick coat as far as finished look.

All of this is obviously going to develop over time as you paint more and more, you will pick up techniques from watching videos, and I am by no means an expert.

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

Looking good so far, all I'd suggest is a few highlights and washes to define the lines a little, white can be a pain in arse to paint. You do a really nice gold though, it's a tricky colour, but you nailed it there.
Nice to see Black Templars though, they were my last army before my looong hiatus, they always give me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
