So I'm trying something a little different, I'm starting up a SOB army with a paint theme similar to Sin City or Schindler's list, Mostly black and white with a little color splash. this is my first attempt at it, and was wanting to know how i should improve on this.

I love it, what a great idea! You've definitely got the greyscale shading down. The trick will be getting a bright & flat enough red for those 'splash' details.

Nice. The splash does need to be VERY intense, or it is just going to be lost on something so small.
