Hi all, here is my template spam list. The goal is to obliterate infantry as easily as vehicles. Here it is:

So.... what's the plan for a list heavy in LR or Leman Russ?

Ditch extra armor on the rhinos. It's only good on LR.

Flamer tanks are basically suicide machines now. It's hard to find value in them.

What if I dropped the Baals and the PC devies for some LS typhoons w/ muiltimelta? Or should I get LC on the Devies instead?

Maybe try and fit a third pod there somewhere to get both fragnought onto the board on turn 1. Maybe for the tacticals and equip them with a meltagun and MM and give the sgt a combimelta. Then combat squad the tacticals and put 5 guys with meltas into the pod to be a backup can opener for turn 1 if needed. The 5 regular tacticals can just chill somewhere safe and guard an objective. My 2 cents.

Although they´re not that popular as LS I usually run 2 -3 Trikes w/MM. They perform superb because of their speed and maybe because most opponents save the firepower for more attractive targets than 2 lousy trikes; sometimes a bad mistake
IMO a hard and cheap anti tank - weapons platform; and you don´t have to change much of your sound army list.

Baals equipped with synchronized cannons force your opponents infantry to do a lot of save rolls or you use them against light/medium armour; of course they come in pairs - just for the case.

I really like this list. My only comment would be to lose the 2nd HQ and maybe one dev squad for a stormraven.

Unless you're playing a 'no flyers' game in which case take out the 2nd HQ for a dakka baal. More guns! More guns!

I agree. I feel that 300 pts is too much to spend on crappy marine HQs at 2K . I just feel that this list will suffer badly vs AV 13 and 14. MLs just don't cut it against those AVs.

Go with the poster above and get some attack bikes with MM. And get an auto/las predator. That should shore up that problem. Then you can kill one LR, and just accept that LR spam (Deathwing) is going to be a problem. You can laugh when that guy gets tabled by DE.

That's better, but I'd try to get a sanguinary priest as well. Attack bikes with FNP are a real pain! Try them!

Thanks! What if I took out one of the Devie squads to put in some Sanguinary Priests? That we be 130 pts..... So I could get a Sanguinary Priest on a bike AND a regular Sanguinary Priest, too.

That's probably good. Longevity for the bikes means more MM shots which can be far more valuable than ML shots. It's really hard to cover all comers as the BA, trust me.
