Recently got the Khador Battlegroup and a box of Widowmakers. The hardest part of starting a new army for me is choosing a colour scheme.

I've seen pictures of various Khador schemes around the web but I was wondering, does anyone have any images of variant schemes?

Preferably not primarily red (unless it does something unique or interesting).

My personal favorite at the moment is the 5th border legion theme, Its an OD green/ muted red. Looks great.

If that doesnt strike your fancy, Look at my gallery at my Conquest. I did it in Beast 09 colors and it did a great job of breaking up the "super huge red thing" vibe.

I've been painting my Khador using WWII Soviet colors. Khador are basically Russians anyway, and I had the paints from my FOW stuff handy.

NQ 29 has a Black and grey scheme for 3rd Div, 9th Kompany "Night Crawlers"

They're done here in Cygnar colors, along with some ridiculously heavy conversion. Maybe not quite what you're aiming for, but they still look neat.

I've got to say, I'm pretty partial to those rust patches.

My colour scheme has red in it, but has highly visible patches of bone and grey, which tends to break it up. I also tok the opportunity of painting my widowmakers in their own scheme as they are scouts/irregulars.

I was going to paint up a khador force with Olive drab green as the main color and red trim for things like markings and such. It probably would've had lots of browns for leather and a light grey for furs (ala wolf furs).

But then my brother started up khador and I am no longer painting up khador. But I did paint up some test ideas on my Malifaux Freikorps.

I like the Olive Green scheme on Khador. its a little more original than the typical soviet red they usually get painted in.

I'm thinking of a dark, emerald greens with greys, brass/golds and heavy weathering. Hope to get some pictures up, eventually.

On mine the studio colour scheme is reversed somewhat. So I have brown bodies with red as a secondary colour (Only Vlad and Drago retain the red scheme)

I went with a bright Orange when I did my battlebox some time ago. Called em Biohazard Khador.

If I were to do Khador I'd paint them either snow camo or woodland camo.
