Hey there. I happened to make an order with Black Cat Bases over a week ago, around the time that I also made one with Forgeworld. The stuff from Forgeworld came a few days later, but I've still yet to recieve even a sent invoice from Black Cat. I've also sent them an email concerning this, but haven't recieved a responce for a few days either.

Is this to be expected with this company? Its not that its been shipped and its taking ages to get here (they ship from the same country as I do...), its the communications breakdown that I'm concerned about.

I placed an order on the 13th on their site. Received an order confirmation on the day but nothing since then. I also live in the UK. :/

I've sent them a second email via their contact page, and hopefully they'll respond to that (its been five days since I sent my first one). Friends have said that they're pretty prompt with their orders and responding to emails, so find this situation odd. It has been suggested however that they may be still handling their christmas backlog. However, it would be nice to recieve an email confirming this at least.

I made one order of their hat selection. It was here in about 5 days.

I've only met them and bought stuff in person on a couple of occasions, but they seem decent friendly people. If they are being slow I doubt there's something untoward about it.

I've bought from them in the past a few times. Shipments took about a month to the US - a portion of that would definitely be shipping time, though other companies in the UK get stuff in a week or two.

I've never heard any complaints about them though, so I wouldn't get too tripped up for another few days for sure. A lot of small companies take a breather after the holidays, so while shipments still go out - they are busy catching their breath and restocking.

Yes, my shipment of skulls arrived from them today, not only that but they threw in a pair of miniature cats too! Khorne will be very pleased! The clam-pack had burst open but the amusing packaging text made up for it.

Do you still get those little cats with the wings and a halo then?

I would suspect that they've gone the route of trying to get the orders out as quickly as they can right now, and thus have let their help desk slip a tad. =P

Current cats are Xerxes and Zhen, a pair of lovely little kittens. D'aww, poor Xerxes.

...I'm wishing I had bought more Friendly Little Robots though. I'm wanting to make a little diorama of one with a kitten as an extra objective marker (or perhaps another with the rats I got randomly as some sort of pied piper...). ^^'

Yup, and they won't be featuring in any "Friendly Little Robot Rescue Missions" as objectives either...

Actually come to think of it I may just make some repair kit and try and get a hold of a Loot chest (or some toilets...) to server as markers too.

When I get around to making my next order I may order a few more robots to chain on the front of some chaos half tracks too. =)
